The Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, considering their unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This role emphasizes care coordination, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care through direct interactions, telephonic communication, or electronic encounters. Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, the RN ensures compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements while supporting medical staff in providing excellent patient care.
