Elite Armed Protective Service Officer (PSO)

Paragon Systems is seeking highly skilled professionals to join our exclusive Department of Justice security contract in Washington, D.C. This is not standard security work. Our Armed Protective Service Officers (PSOs) are entrusted with safeguarding some of America's most critical assets. The position requires constant vigilance, split-second decision-making, and the ability to perform under pressure in both indoor and outdoor environments. PSOs operate in a performance-driven environment where discipline, professionalism, and readiness are paramount. You will stand among the best-trained private security professionals in the nation, and be compensated accordingly.

What You'll Do:

• Protect and secure federal facilities, personnel, and visitors at the highest standard of professionalism.
• Maintain unwavering focus and presence during extended periods of on-site duty.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies and security threats.
• Utilize issued equipment (including firearms where required by assignment) with absolute discipline and accountability.

Who We're Looking For:

We seek elite candidates with proven experience in law enforcement or military security forces who can thrive in a demanding, compliance-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Age 21 or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Law Enforcement Training Academy (State/Federal) OR State/Federal Correctional Academy
• Minimum of 18 months experience in ONE of the following:
• Deputized Federal, State, or County Law Enforcement
• U.S. Military Police
• U.S. Security Forces
• State or Federal Corrections (no county/municipal corrections, D.C. corrections, SPO, or standard armed guard experience)
• Clean law enforcement work history (no infractions)

• Comprehensive medical exam
• Federal background investigation and credit check
• Physical fitness test
• Company training & certification
• Government-led deputization
