Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) – Med/Surg Unit

Novant Health is looking for a passionate and skilled Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to join our Med/Surg unit . In this role, you will support the Nurse Manager with day-to-day operations, mentor clinical staff, and help drive high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Location: Matthews Medical Center
• Hours: 10a-6:30p 

• Unit Info: P rovides expert, around-the-clock intensive care for general med/surg patients including postoperative care and medical .

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

Master's Degree Preferred 

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required

Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience Preferred

Prior demonstrated nursing leadership Preferred

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state Required Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications

Additional Skills Required: Successful completion of generic and department‐specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
