Novant Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager at Forsyth Medical Center – Winston Salem, NC

• Schedule : FT - 40 hours - After 3:00pm - 4x 10 hour shifts
  
• Role: Provides clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level.
• Department : General Medical Surgical
• Location : Forsyth Medical Center – Winston Salem, NC
• Unit description: We are a General Medical Surgical unit within our Forsyth Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse on this unit you will care for patients coming to us post PACU with gastrointestinal issues, hepatobiliary surgeries, pancreatitis, ostomies, vascular surgeries (BKA, DVT and cellulitis) and orthopedic overflow surgeries.

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN preferred.
  • Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.
  • Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  •   Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
  • Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications
• Additional Skills (required):  Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
