Overview

Daisy is a national smart space installation and services company that simplifies smart home and office technology to make it work optimally, solving one of the biggest in-home problems today and bringing more joy into the lives of our clients

As we expand, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and help us scale efficiently. This position will report to the Senior Accounting Manager. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely records of accounts payable, accounts receivable , and general ledger entries
  


• 
  Timely customer invoicing , and oversee collections
  


• Manage vendor and credit card payments
  


• Reconcile bank, credit card , and merchant accounts monthly


• Prepare and review monthly financial statements , job cost reports , and cash flow forecasts
  


• Monitor inventory , COGS , and project profitability
  


• Support accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, based on project milestones and service delivery


• Track deferred revenue and ensure proper timing of income recognition for multi-phase installations


• Manage 1099 Tax Filings


• Ensure systems are aligned and reconciled between QuickBooks Online , NetSuite , and project management tools


• Coordinate with leadership to manage budgeting and forecasting
  


• Ensure proper sales tax tracking and filing for multiple jurisdictions


• Support inventory and cost of goods sold tracking


• Ensure integration and accuracy across QuickBooks Online , NetSuite , and CRM/inventory systems


• Support the local San Carlos branch with office administrations tasks

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a service-based or technology/installation business


• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required


• Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred


• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
  


• Familiarity with job costing , inventory, and project-based accounting


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Proficient in Excel and other cloud-based tools (Google Workspace, Dropbox, etc.)


• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines


• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Work Environment & Expectations

• This is a hybrid role based in San Carlos, CA
  


• In-office presence required 3 days per week for collaboration, vendor coordination, and documentation management


• Remaining time can be remote/flexible

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
