We are seeking an entry-level, full-time Business Development Associate for the Downtown Chicago area. Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Identifying new sales leads by researching organizations and individuals online, especially on social media, to discover potential markets. Contacting potential and current clients via email, phone, or text to establish rapport and schedule in-person meetings for negotiations and business expansion. Promoting a proactive culture of partnership and customer service. Documenting, managing, and measuring your key accounts strategy. Communicating proactively with senior management regarding sales expectations, strategies, and growth. Engaging and galvanizing a team to achieve shared revenue goals. Building collaborative relationships with Midwest Foods’ key stakeholders. Learning and understanding Midwest Foods’ products and services. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. Attending industry conferences, meetings, and events. Preparing paperwork for activating and maintaining contracts, including credit information. Managing account services through quality checks and follow-up, both in person and over the phone. Performing additional responsibilities as needed. Qualifications: A business degree, marketing degree, or related professional qualification is recommended but not mandatory. Ability to persuade, influence, and deliver presentations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven experience in customer relationship management. Experience with CRM or cloud-based programs is recommended.
