Summary

Connect Search is hiring a Buyer in Reeseville.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the complete procurement cycle for raw materials and MRO supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production and facility needs, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and quality compliance.
Monitor and analyze usage trends to forecast material requirements.
Work closely with Maintenance to coordinate procurement for scheduled PMs and ensure availability of required parts and services.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
Perform regular inventory audits and implement improvements to inventory control processes.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing, inventory turnover, and vendor performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, finance, and maintenance to align purchasing activities with business goals.
Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing and inventory management and or scheduling.
Proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar supply chain role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, raw materials, and MRO procurement.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
