About the Role
The Company is seeking a Career Coach to provide essential support and resources to students and alumni, helping them achieve professional and personal success. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering career coaching, advising, and self-development exercises through various mediums, including one-on-one sessions, workshops, and outreach to student groups. This role involves maintaining a centralized structure for tracking internship funds, managing department schedules, and preparing reports and communications. The Career Coach will also be expected to connect with a variety of stakeholders, including official committees, student affinity groups, and personnel in advancement, student life, and student success. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in higher education and career service support, with a preference for those holding an Associate's or Bachelor's degree. The role requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google products, and social media, as well as a track record of achieving exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of NACE standards, experience in career services, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsibilities also include assisting students in developing personalized career plans, setting realistic goals, and supporting the company's mission to create a welcoming environment that promotes a sense of belonging for all.
