The Career Coach provides coaching services to assist students in completing their Career Development Portfolio (CDP). Reports to the campus Director of Career Services and works collaboratively with Employer Consultants, Talent Connection Managers, Advisors, K-14 Leads, and other faculty and staff to meet the career development needs of students and to meet or exceed campus metrics. Major Responsibilities include partnering with campus Career Link team and Systems Office Assistant Vice President of Career Coaching to build out campus strategy and plan to meet and exceed related College goals; coaching students in one to one and group settings to complete career development items such as resume, LinkedIn profile, mock interviews, employer engagement, and work-and-learn/job placement platform; partnering with campus staff to provide pre-Ivy Tech and orientation experiences; leading efforts to build awareness of career coaching opportunities; delivering presentations, workshops, and events; developing and reporting on lead indicators and results connected to Career Development participation; overseeing portals used by students related to career awareness and exploration; supporting students through professional clothing closet; working with Talent Connection Manager and Employer Consultant to establish and grow work-and-learn and practicum experiences; developing understanding of career coaching best practices; participating in professional growth and training; attending meetings and summits; and other duties as assigned within FERPA and regulatory requirements. Min Qualifications: Associate's degree in Business, Education, or related field; minimum two years related experience in career development/coaching with case and relationship management; proficiency or certifications in career assessments preferred; ability to promote inclusive environment; excellent communication and organizational skills; commitment to student learning outcomes and diversity; ability to travel; ability to work within entrepreneurial framework.
