The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position involves providing anesthesia care in a Level 1 trauma hospital, working primarily in inpatient settings with a variety of surgical cases including EP/Cath Lab, Neuro, Orthopedic, and Robotics. The role requires certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and PALS and involves responding to airway emergencies and code teams. The CRNA works under medical direction but also performs independent cases as needed, utilizing the Epic EMR system in a team with anesthesiologists and other CRNAs.
