About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) to join its executive team. The CFAO will be a key leader, responsible for directing and overseeing all financial, IT, internal audit, risk, and facilities management functions. This pivotal role requires a seasoned, mission-driven leader with a proven track record in financial management within a global, complex NGO. The successful candidate will ensure the organization's fiscal and operational excellence, compliance, and sustainability, and will work closely with senior leaders to develop and execute global policies and frameworks. The CFAO will also provide expert guidance on financial management to the organization's network of partners and affiliates. Candidates for the CFAO position at the company should have an advanced degree in finance, accounting, or management, with a preference for a CPA. The role demands exceptional leadership skills, particularly within a global organization, and a deep knowledge of funding and the proposal process. Strong experience in IT systems and process management, as well as a background in design and implementation of global finance and enterprise-wide systems, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management, and a passion for issues related to immigration and refugee protection. The CFAO will be expected to travel internationally and must be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and leading change in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
