Description CLYNK CT Brand Ambassador Job Type : Full-Time Reports To : Communications & Engagement Manager Compensation : $20-24/hr (dependent on experience), plus milage reimbursement from home to store Schedule Availability: Full-time, in-person role (not remote). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled. Scheduling can be flexible to support 4 or 5-day work weeks. Location: Remote (employee’s residence) with frequent travel to store locations until a dedicated workspace is available at our processing center in Bristol, CT. Summary CLYNK is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive full-time Brand Ambassador to support the deployment of our pilot program in designated Stop & Shop locations in Connecticut. This role is not remote and requires travel between store locations on a rotational basis. Currently this role will predominantly be based in the Simsbury, Bristol, Southington, and Windsor areas of the state with the likelihood of outward expansion from those areas. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in customer acquisition, retailer support, and respond to general customer inquiries. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainability, community involvement, and customer service. Essential Functions Customer Engagement & Promotion: Actively promote CLYNK's brand and services at Stop & Shop locations and community events. Educate customers on the program's benefits and provide guidance for a seamless user experience. Customer Assistance & Sign-Ups: Assist customers with CLYNK account sign-ups and demonstrate the use of our mobile app, kiosk, and sustainability station. Answer general customer questions and ensure a positive interaction. Retailer & Event Support: Set up and manage promotional tables at events. Support retail partners in the initial deployment of the program. Distribute marketing materials and create an engaging atmosphere for customers. Education & Outreach: Educate the public on sustainability and recycling practices while showcasing how CLYNK’s model supports these values while simplifying and streamlining the redemption process. Travel & Reporting: Travel between store locations on a rotational basis. Provide regular updates on event participation, customer interactions, and program feedback. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in customer service, marketing, or promotional role. Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with diverse community members. Passion for environmental sustainability and community outreach. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled. Reliable transportation to travel between stores (mileage reimbursement provided). Must have a cell phone (reimbursement provided). Bilingual in Spanish/English is strongly preferred. Additional Requirements Pre-employment Screening: Professional reference check, background check and motor vehicle record check Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time, comfortable working in variable outdoor weather conditions year-round, ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
