Crane Operator

What Brought You Here:

• Pay: $18/hr or more depending on experience.
• Shift Days and Hours: 6 am – 3 pm OT as needed
• Benefits starting  DAY ONE!

Who You Are:

The Ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a very fast-paced and deadline driven environment. 1+ year(s) manufacturing experience required along with prior Crane Operator experience . Glass industry experience a plus. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate a remote overhead crane.
• Observe all workplace safety rules and regulations.
• Move pallets, goods, and other objects to the appropriate areas.
• Work and communicate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Inspect equipment and fill out service requests, as necessary.
• Able to move between different departments for cross-training.

Skills You Bring:

• Minimum one year prior overhead crane  
• Minimum one year prior forklift experience 
• Ability to read measuring equipment (measuring tape, rulers, gauges, etc.).
• Able to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• Experience in the glass industry highly preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and workflows.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to meet schedule and performance expectations.
• Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift.
• Strong communication skills.
