BLKDG is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist that is responsible for a variety of marketing initiatives for clients across a diverse range of industries. Duties include the oversight of email & CRM marketing platforms (including creating and executing email campaigns, formulating tests, personalizing content, analyzing results) proactively directing SEO programs, and collaborating in PPC campaign management. Successful candidates should be dynamic enough to learn new technologies and processes while providing recommendations to improve performance. Candidates should be passionate about Digital Marketing while being organized, creative, and analytical. They must possess strong prioritization skills and the ability to meet deadlines/deliverables when managing multiple client accounts. This is a client-facing role that's pivotal for client engagement, requiring active participation and compelling presentations where you'll transform intricate marketing data into clear, actionable narratives for our clients. Strong understanding of conditional workflows for marketing automation and customer journeys. In-depth knowledge of technical SEO best practices, including website crawling, indexing, and structured data. Basic HTML experience, as well as WordPress & Shopify Admin experience. Solid understanding of digital marketing trends and email best practices. In-depth knowledge of CRM and email marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, & Klaviyo). Hands-on experience integrating email marketing tools with Shopify and WordPress. Demonstrated ability using creative design software such as Adobe & Figma. Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. Experience with website analytics tools and platforms. Experience with website audit & keyword research tools, generating SEM reports, and ability to utilize SEO software such as SEMRush, Google Search Console & Google Looker Studio. Agency experience preferred, or demonstrated ability to handle multiple accounts. Responsibilities Effectively report on email campaign and SEO performance in client stand-ups, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives that resonate with clients and highlight opportunities for increased success. Create/collaborate on BLKDG branded decks and presentation slides to effectively communicate data, strategies, and results for client meetings. Assist in managing daily operations of marketing tasks for clients and the BLKDG team. Coordinate regularly with agency teams (marketing, design, development, and account management) to ensure clients are getting positive results. Proactively manage SEO/CRM/Email programs that keep up with a constant pace of change. Contribute to the success of the team by assisting in other duties defined by management. Assist in building and managing CRM programs for our customer base. Develop and implement CRM strategies to optimize customer segmentation, lead nurturing, and retention for agency clients. (This combines strategy and execution, crucial for an agency setting). Manage and maintain CRM data integrity, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and consistency across all client accounts. (Data quality is paramount for effective CRM). Configure and customize CRM workflows and automation sequences to streamline marketing and sales processes. (This ties into the "conditional workflows" mentioned in qualifications). Analyze CRM data to identify customer trends, behaviors, and opportunities for personalized marketing campaigns and upsell/cross-sell initiatives. Provide training and support on CRM best practices and system utilization. Monitor CRM platform performance and troubleshoot basic technical issues, escalating complex problems to relevant teams or vendors as needed. (System health and problem-solving). Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute new content strategy initiatives to drive traffic for agency clients. Collaborate closely with the agency development team on all aspects of new web projects, including technical SEO implementation, site architecture, and performance optimization. Assist with strategic implementation for SEO programs, ranging from website kick-off through post-launch marketing services. Define SEO program objectives and market opportunities, using a mix of proprietary tools, analytics, and industry data. Prepare technical SEO audits to identify areas of concern from a website performance perspective. Work with our internal resources to prepare, plan, and execute link-building and On-Page SEO content strategies. Track, report, and analyze website analytics, pay-per-click initiatives, and campaigns. Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs, and reconciling discrepancies. Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization. Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
