DYT Yacht Transport is focused on hiring additional talent within our Operations Department. Are you driven and looking for a challenging work environment within an International company? We might be looking for you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily updates for cargos on board the fleet of DYT vessels
• Create space plans for each voyage within the fleet of DYT vessels
• Create individual docking plans for cargos on board a DYT vessel
• Make conversions from manufacturers' drawings to .acad
• Maintain communication between Loading Masters and the Drafting department to finalize stowage plans
• Create cribbing and sea fastening plans for each cargo on DYT vessels
• File drawings and maintain catalogues of engineering data, along with other routine drawing room functions
• Attend local port calls to assist Loading Masters as needed
• Assist the Materials and Logistics Department with maintaining spares and ship equipment in the DYT storage yard (based in Port Everglades)

Requirements and desired qualifications:

• Successful completion of high school or equivalent of 2 years of training at a technical, Naval, or Merchant Maritime school
• 2 years of experience in the preparation of engineering drawings
• Autocad certification
• Strong PC/IT skills (ie., Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Ability to collaborate with various individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
• Good written and clear communication
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work some nights and weekends during operations in Port Everglades
• Mobility is required to get on/off the carriers, as well as some heavy lifting within the storage yard
