Design, develop and execute test cases for data pipelines and transformations using GCP native tools.
Perform regression and UAT testing and maintain test documentation for future reference.
Experience interacting with business stakeholders to understand data-related use cases and translating requirements into technical test cases.
Ability to do end to end testing for ETL jobs, identify issues and inform development team to resolve the issues.
Develop and execute UAT test plans, test cases and track them to resolution.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools ex: JIRA and expertise in Excel.
Execute and document test results in Excel spreadsheets.
Log, track and retest defects using tools like JIRA and maintaining status logs in Excel.
Create summary reports using Excel pivot tables and charts to present test coverage, defect trends, and results.
Expertise or Proficient in writing SQL queries.
Validate data integrity between source systems and BigQuery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze business requirements and collaborate with developers, data engineers and business analysts to define test strategies.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews and stand-ups in an Agile/Scrum environment
