Job Description
Nexmos Design is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for planning and executing high-impact events. The Event Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of events from start to finish, ensuring an exceptional experience for our clients and attendees.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute events including timelines, logistics, and vendor management
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define event objectives and expectations
Source venues, negotiate contracts, and manage event budgets
Handle event setup, execution, and post-event breakdown
Monitor event progress and resolve any on-site issues
Maintain communication with all stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
Prepare post-event reports and evaluate event performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in event coordination or a similar role
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning tools
Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
