JOIN OUR TEAM – EVENT MANAGER

Are you obsessed with nightlife? Do you thrive in high-energy environments where no two nights are the same? If so, Joonbug wants you!

We’re looking for passionate, driven, and fearless event pros to help curate and execute elite nightlife events across the country. As an Event Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the city’s most electrifying parties, coordinating everything from VIP experiences to high-profile promotions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (AKA MAKING NIGHTLIFE MAGIC HAPPEN):

• Own the Experience – From concept to execution, you’ll craft high-energy events that leave people talking. This means handling everything—site walk-throughs, prep, proposals, invoicing—you make it all seamless.
• Curate the Vibe – Lock in the hottest vendors: booking agents, DJs, security, décor, staff, food, drinks—you know how to build a scene that sells.
• Pack the House – Whether it’s a one-night blowout or a weekly residency, you’ll create, market, and fill the room with the right crowd.
• Life of the Party – Work the event, give out VIP passes, hype up the crowd, and get the DJ to drop your name. If you’re not down to be part of the action, this isn’t for you. If you are —you’re gonna have a blast.
• Hustle Hard – Scout, pitch, and secure the best venues. If it takes calling 100 bars to land the perfect spot, you make it happen.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in event management or hospitality.
• Flexibility: Must be available to work a varied schedule , including days, nights, weekends, and holidays , based on event demands.
• Organizational Excellence: Strong attention to detail with exceptional time management skills, ensuring flawless execution of events.
• Leadership & Problem-Solving: Self-motivated, extroverted, and resilient, with the ability to think quickly and navigate high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication & Customer Service: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage with clients, vendors, and event attendees.
• Tech Proficiency: Competency in Google Suite, with a particular focus on Google Sheets for event planning and tracking.
• Travel: Some travel to outside markets may be required to oversee events and expand venue partnerships.
• Work Hours: Based in our Midtown NYC office, managers are expected to work Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with additional weekend and extended holiday hours as necessary.
