About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead the launch, growth, and sustainability of its Central Florida chapter. The successful candidate will be responsible for all day-to-day fundraising operations, including the planning and coordination of various events, and will oversee the work of a Program Manager to ensure a robust calendar of activities for the families served. This role requires a strong passion for the organization's mission, a Bachelor's degree, and 3-5 years of non-profit leadership or similar for-profit experience. The Executive Director must have a proven track record in fundraising, be adept at establishing and maintaining relationships with donors and volunteers, and be able to cope with the emotional demands of working with children facing life-threatening medical conditions. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Central Florida chapter should be prepared for a hands-on role that involves flexible work hours, including nights and weekends, and the ability to work from home. The role demands a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a positive, outgoing personality. The Executive Director will be expected to have a strong technology background, be proficient in various software applications, and have the ability to learn and maintain a working knowledge of the organization's event management system and CRM. Financial responsibilities include budget preparation, ensuring the chapter operates within budget, and raising funds to meet financial goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, capable of managing a local State Board, and will work closely with the National Director of Operations to execute the organization's strategic plan.
