Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship ManagementServe as the dedicated finance lead and primary point of contact for 10+ client accountsBuild trusted, long-term, relationships with nonprofit executives, board members, and other stakeholdersAnticipate client needs and provide proactive, strategic recommendationsManage client engagement timelines and deliverables in alignment with 100 Degrees Consultings standardsSpot opportunities to expand services and deepen support as client needs evolve Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare comprehensive monthly GAAP-compliant financial statementsTranslate financial data into clear, actionable analysis for nonprofit leaders and boards Conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis and highlight key insights Support monthly forecasting and cash flow modeling to help clients plan with confidence Compliance & Risk Management Monitor and maintain ongoing financial compliance across client accountsEnsure audit readiness through proper documentation and systematic record-keepingStay current on nonprofit regulations and GAAP requirementsCoordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audit processes Strategic Financial PlanningLead annual budgeting process from initiation through board approvalFacilitate stakeholder meetings to gather input and align budget priorities with organizational missionDevelop realistic budget frameworks based on historical analysis and strategic goalsCreate multi-year financial projections and scenario planning modelsConduct periodic budget review and recommend adjustments as neededCash Flow & ForecastingDevelop and maintain comprehensive cash flow reporting for clientsProvide monthly forecast updates based on actual results and revised projections Create scenario planning models to help clients navigate financial uncertaintiesIdentify potential cash flow challenges and recommend solutionsSupport overall organizational strategic decision-making through financial modeling and analysisGrant & Restricted Funding ManagementSupport grant funding initiatives and grant compliance requirementsProvide real-time expenditure tracking systems for grant fundingPrepare accurate financial reports for fundersAssist with grant applications by providing financial projections and budget developmentPayroll & Cost AllocationImplement payroll allocation methodologies across programs and funding sourcesMaintain comprehensive documentation supporting all allocationsTeam Collaboration Work closely with other Finance Managers and team members to share knowledge, improve processes, and share wins and challengesContribute to a collaborative and solution-oriented internal team cultureQualities Were Looking For:Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughProactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative Collaborative and relationship-focused, able to partner effectively with teams and stakeholders.
