Job Description

A leading multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking an experienced Geneva Developer to join its high-performing global technology team.

This is a highly technical and collaborative role, focused on the design, development, and customisation of the Geneva platform to support a wide range of front-to-back investment operations. You will work closely with investment, operations, and engineering teams to build reliable, scalable solutions across portfolio accounting, performance measurement, compliance, and data integration workflows.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full development lifecycle, including scripting, interface design, system upgrades, and performance tuning — all within a fast-paced and evolving trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customise Geneva scripts, rules, and reports to support investment operations.
• Build and maintain interfaces between Geneva and internal/external systems.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions within Geneva.
• Troubleshoot system configuration, data, and performance issues.
• Support system upgrades and participate in ongoing maintenance and optimisation.
• Maintain documentation covering Geneva development, configurations, and processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong hands-on experience in Geneva development, scripting (Geneva Script, RSL), and support.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Geneva Data Mart, Geneva API, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Geneva modules including Portfolio Accounting, Performance, and Compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience working in a financial services environment and an Agile setting is advantageous.
