Job Description

Our client, a leading provider in the insurance industry, is seeking a Sales Agent to join their team. As a Sales Agent, you will be part of the customer service department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sales Agent

Location: Lake Charles, LA

Pay Range: $35,000 - $60,000

What's the Job?

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs while marketing appropriate products and services.
• Assist in processing claims and resolving customer complaints.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and follow up on outstanding issues.

What's Needed?

• Must have a Life and Health license.
• Ability to provide advice to customers regarding their insurance needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assist customers effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of State Farm products and services.
• Proficient in using computer software programs.
