About the Role: The HIL - Order Picker plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our supply chain within the Forestry, Fishing, Hunting, and Livestock industry. This position is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. The Order Picker will work closely with inventory management systems to track stock levels and report discrepancies, contributing to overall inventory accuracy. Additionally, this role involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Ultimately, the success of the Order Picker directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics processes.
Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking environment.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with inventory management software.
- Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities: - Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer specifications and inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to the inventory management team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.
