Job Summary

We are Gold Star Staffing, a staffing company partnered with multiple hotels in the area and looking to expand. We are looking for a professional Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for taking care of our hotel’s infrastructure as well as managing maintenance personnel and planning renovation and repair projects. 

All employees start at the base pay of $13/hour for the first month. During this time, you are considered a probationary employee as we evaluate your performance and gauge your experience. After your probationary month is up, your pay will be increased based on your proven knowledge level up to the client’s discretion.

As the Hotel Maintenance Technician, you should have experience with electrical and plumbing. You must be organized and committed to meeting health and safety standards at all times. 

Your primary goal is to ensure our hotel is safe and functional for guests and employees. 

Responsibilities

• Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
• Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms and public areas
• Undertake repair and maintenance projects without disturbing guests
• Communicate all problems and resolve them or make recommendations to upper management for resolutions

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly diagnose the root cause of failures and suggest appropriate solutions
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with the site staff and internal partners, external vendors, and groups of residents
