Description: Position Title: Housekeeper / House Manager Location: Delray Beach, Florida Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM Compensation: $38–$40 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview: A private household in Delray Beach is seeking a meticulous and proactive Housekeeper/House Manager to oversee daily household operations in a fast-paced environment, maintain cleanliness and organization, and ensure the smooth running of the residence. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative in managing household needs and vendor relations. Key Responsibilities Housekeeping & Organization Perform detailed daily and weekly cleaning to maintain a pristine home environment. Handle laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management; bring clothing to and from the dry cleaners. Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all rooms are neat, organized, and well-stocked. Declutter and maintain order throughout the home, including storage and closets. Discard expired food items, clean and descale coffee makers, and keep kitchen areas spotless. Clean and sanitize cat litter boxes, feed and monitor the household cat, and ensure pet safety during visits or maintenance work. Household Management & Errands Manage deliveries, unpack groceries, and handle returns. Monitor and coordinate with household vendors such as pest control, handyman, gardener, and window cleaners. Oversee maintenance needs, noting repairs such as paint touch-ups or appliance issues, and facilitate service calls. Track and replenish household supplies (toiletries, paper goods, cleaning products, etc.). Check in on the secondary property weekly, collect mail, and ensure it remains in good condition. Pack and prepare items for travel or storage. Assist with seasonal and holiday decorating. Setting the table when entertaining. Exterior & Property Oversight Keep outdoor areas clean and organized, including tidying patio furniture and play areas. Ensure flowers and plants are watered and maintained; call gardener as needed. Arrange for window washing and monitor exterior maintenance schedules. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in private home housekeeping or estate management. Strong organizational and time management skills with a hands-on, proactive approach. High attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards. Discretion, reliability, and trustworthiness are essential. Pet-friendly and comfortable caring for a cat. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
