With nearly a century of legal excellence across five Texas offices, the firm is deeply rooted in tradition while forward-looking in its approach to client service and internal culture. This is a unique opportunity to lead and modernize the HR function in a dynamic legal environment where collaboration, compliance, and cultural alignment are paramount.

Reporting to firm leadership, the Human Resources Manager will oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, ensuring legal compliance, enhancing employee experience, and driving long-term talent strategy. • Performance Management & Employee Relations: Manage the firm’s performance evaluation and employee relations programs to foster a high-performing, respectful culture rooted in fairness, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Compensation, Benefits & HRIS Administration: Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs, maintain accurate HRIS/payroll systems, and lead vendor partnerships to ensure operational efficiency and market alignment.
  • Culture, Collaboration & Office Integration: Partner with leadership and staff across all offices to promote a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven culture, while supporting internal initiatives and employee engagement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of HR experience in a professional services or law firm environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise HRIS systems
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing employee benefits, compliance, and performance programs
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to offices outside of Austin
