Job Description

Join a growing and supportive team as an HVAC Manager, where you will play a key role in driving the success of our branch through effective leadership, training, and operational excellence. This position is responsible for overseeing HVAC replacement and service sales, developing technicians through organized training, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The ideal candidate is a positive leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage HVAC technicians to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs for both new and experienced technicians to enhance skills and performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of customer relations, ensuring prompt and high-quality service and installation.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety programs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering stock, supervising truck stock, and maintaining warehouse organization.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including parts costs and sales numbers, and participate in regular meetings with branch management.
  • Coordinate and schedule on-call rotations and ensure adequate staffing coverage.
  • Promote company branding through the use of yard signs, door hangers, business cards, and other materials.
  • Maintain building and tool maintenance for the HVAC department.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing issues proactively and encouraging teamwork and professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by branch management to support branch efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HVAC service, installation, or management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • General computer proficiency for reporting and scheduling.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices is a plus.
