OVERVIEW

Under general supervision, the Insurance and Licensing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and updating the Statement of Values on file with our insurance company, processing department invoices, obtaining bonds and maintaining bond list for SC and SH. They also manage the licensing department email, sort and distribute department mail, and act as the point person for securing Officer signatures when needed for the department.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Review and process various department related invoices in SunAppSys.
  • Responsible for reviewing and disbursing incident reports to appropriate parties for processing
  • Review, respond to, and forward to appropriate team members and departments emails that are received through the licensing@suncommunities.com email address.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Process security deposit bonds.
  • Communicate quarterly reporting to our insurance agent for rental homes and RV rental inventory.
  • Communicate efficiently with the insurance agency to coordinate insurance policy changes, deletions, and acquisitions.
  • Process and track National Flood Insurance Policy (NFIP) renewals and invoices.
  • Process the department PNC Bank bill each month.
  • Secure Officer signatures on licensing and insurance documents as needed
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing department mail

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 1 year working in an office environment
  • 1 year insurance industry experience
  • Strong time management skills to set and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and improve processes
  • Excellent computer proficiency including the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), email and internet
  • Strong attention to detail, customer service, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team with diverse groups/audiences, including those in remote locations.
