Internship Opportunity: Finance & Accounting Analyst

What You'll Learn and Contribute:

As our Finance & Accounting Intern, you'll work closely with our finance and accounting team and gain valuable insights into the financial operations of our company. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to learn about and contribute to:

• Financial Data Analysis: Assisting in the collection, organization, and analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
  
• Financial Reporting Support: Learning about the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations under the guidance of senior team members.
  
• General Ledger Activities: Gaining exposure to general ledger processes, including data entry, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy of financial records.
  
• Costing Process: Gaining an understanding of how the company tracks and analyzes its costs of goods sold and operating expenses. You may assist in gathering data for cost analysis and learning about different costing methodologies.
  
• Pricing and Profitability: Learning about the factors that influence product and service pricing decisions. You may assist in analyzing sales data, cost information, and market conditions to understand profitability margins.
  
• Internal Controls Awareness: Learning about and assisting with the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  
• Process Improvement Initiatives: Identifying opportunities to streamline finance and accounting processes and contributing to efficiency improvements.
  

You will:

· Actively participate in scheduled team meetings, gaining insights into ongoing projects and financial discussions.

· Contributing your perspective and ideas during discussions, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

· Collaborating directly with the executive team on tactical initiatives and their execution, providing valuable support.

· Assisting in the preparation and delivery of updates, findings, and potential directions to the executive team.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications):

We're seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented students who are eager to learn and contribute:

• 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student with a declared major or strong focus in Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• A foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is highly desirable.
  
• A proactive and eager attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.

• Reporting: You will report to a member of our Executive Team.
  
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
  
• Job Type: Part-time internship with flexible hours (to be discussed based on your academic schedule).
