WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:

BASIC FUNCTION:

The Design Consultant - Showroom Sales - Main responsibility is to provide both customer services and suggestive selling to clientele, as well as help with the day-to-day operations of the Showroom.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Offers suggestions to clients regarding pattern, color, and other design elements.
• Coordinates special products and assignments for clientele
• Requests product from inventory as necessary; Fulfills sample requests both within the showroom and through the Web
• Generate and process reserves, sales quotes, and orders 
• Organizes showroom and trimming displays as necessary 
• Provide customer service to clientele, including order processing, customer follow-up, and customer inquiries.
• Support the outside salesperson with requests incurred on the road. 
• All other duties as assigned by Senior Management

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

· Highly organized

· Ability to multitask

· Passion for Design and good color sense is a plus

· Solid communication skills, both written and verbal

· Professional presentation

· Sales experience, preferably in a showroom environment

· The ability to work in a team environment

· Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Applications and Excel

· Design experience is highly preferred

· Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Base salary based upon experience, + commission
