Job Description
Potrero Hills Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a **Landfill Laborer** to join our team in **Suisun City, CA** ! This is a full time, long term position with a reputable company.
The days of the week are subject to business needs and seniority, but the schedule may include Saturdays. Shift can start as early as 3:30am or as late as 9am. This is a union position with union pay scale and union benefits. **The starting pay will be 25.30/hour.** The pay range for this job is $25.30 - 29.76/hour.
Responsibilities Include:
· Spotting Trucks
· Cleaning Equipment
· Picking up litter
· General site cleanup
· Driving employees to their work stations
· Helping out with scale house duties: cash handling, computer work, customer service.
· Performing other assigned duties at the landfill
Requirements:
· At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.
· The ability to continually lift up to 75lbs repeatedly throughout an 8 hr shift.
· Proficient on computers.
· Experience operating equipment is a plus.
· Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
· Mechanical ability a plus.
