WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Providence, Rhode Island.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at a prestigious hospital in North Providence, Rhode Island. 

Job Function:  

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
\n
• Manage the care of adult and pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions, requiring complex assessments and high-intensity therapies.
\n
• Provide emotional support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout their emergency room experience.
\n
• Maintain close communication with the healthcare team and independently recognize the need for early intervention.
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing, ensuring all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed.
\n
• Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, blood draws, and other critical interventions.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.
\n

• Hold an active State RN license (or willingness to obtain).

  \n
\n

• 2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty.

  \n
\n

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n
