The Maintenance Technician supports facilities staff by performing maintenance duties such as maintenance of office equipment, and computer systems, electrical projects, light construction. Works with outside contractors and vendors on facilities and equipment repairs, general maintenance, troubleshooting and operations maintenance for all equipment used in the facility. Key Responsibilities include basic understanding of tools and their uses, ability to work in a warehouse environment, cleaning/dusting of automation equipment including conveyors, photo electric sensors, rollers, drives, motors, oil pans, restocking of consumables supplies for warehousing environment, basic/entry level preventative maintenance procedures, walking up to 10k steps daily, lifting boxes up to 25lbs, and capability and willingness to learn more advanced aspects of maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. Shift details: Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm or until complete, rotational Saturday once a month 11:00 am -8:00 pm. Minimum requirements: 1+ years of related experience. Critical skills: electrical safety principles, mechanical skills around moving machinery, basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, discretionary and organized thinking, self-motivation, extreme attention to detail, flexibility, and oral and written communication skills. Working conditions include production environment with closely monitored and legally compliant regulations. Physical requirements include 100% standing, bending, lifting, walking, and climbing.
