Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required from the last 4 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU
Types of Patients on Unit: Adults and Peds >15 years old, Neuro surgery (initiating neuro interventionalist with thrombectomy program) - not required exp., Respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock (impella, balloon pump - not required exp.), renal failure (CRRT) - not required exp., general surgery, psych/OD, GI bleeds, cancer specific surgeries - esophagectomy, internal chemo administration, CVPs, Alines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring- all can train real time, Zoll -Thermoguard for hypothermia protocol, Bell Mont rapid transfuser
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Every other; Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on unit needs
Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU
Previous Employment Requirements: Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
