Title: Manager-Outpatient Services-RN

Facility: MVH Infusion Center Admin Troy

Department: Infusion Center

Shift/hours: Full-time, days, 80 hours/pay period

General Summary/Responsibilities:

The Manager for Outpatient Nursing is responsible for providing overall leadership, direction, strategic planning, staffing, and coordination for the assigned clinical areas within the Outpatient areas of Miami Valley Hospital North including the Outpatient Infusion Center, Preadmission and Cardiac Diagnostics, and the Heart Failure Clinic, as well as provision of overall leadership and direction for outpatient nurses in the hospital. These activities are preformed in concert with the organization’s mission, vision, values, goals, and objectives. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises FTEs

Exercises full management authority including performance reviews, discipline, termination and personnel hiring

Financial Accountability: Manages operating budget

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration

§ Valid Ohio RN license

§ CPR Certification

§ ACLS within 90 days of hire

§ ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification within 1 year

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience

Prior job title or occupational experience: 2 years of Progressive Leadership Experience
