Welder And Fabricator

Join our team as a welder and fabricator, where you will be responsible for welding and fabricating various parts. You will check on parts before starting your day, work off blueprints, and understand layouts, positions, and secure parts. Your primary task will be to perform MIG wire feed welding to support assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate various parts.
• Check on parts before starting the day.
• Work off blueprints and understand layouts, positions, and secure parts.
• Perform tack welds and weld components to support assemblies.
• Primarily perform MIG wire feed welding.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in MIG welding/fabricating or a two-year tech degree in welding/fabrication.
• Experience with welding heavy weldments.
• Fabrication experience, not limited to production welding.
• Ability to rig and use overhead cranes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a variety of welding and fabrication tasks is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and working from blueprints.

Work Environment:

Our facility is a heavy equipment fabrication and custom shop, known for its cleanliness and organized layout. Employees work the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and we value flexibility, as all welding occurs during the first shift. Our shop is cleaner than many others in western Wisconsin, providing a comfortable and efficient workspace.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of New Richmond, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $66560.00/yr. 401(k) retirement plan and company match 8 paid holidays 13 PTO days in year one, up to 32 days with tenure Medical & Dental Insurance Short-term Disability Life Insurance and AD&D

Workplace Type:

This is a fully onsite position in New Richmond, WI.
