*MS Tele - RN Job Description*

*Position Title:* MS Tele - RN

*Position Summary:*
The MS/Tele RN is responsible for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The role combines the clinical skills of medical-surgical nursing with the technical expertise of telemetry monitoring to provide comprehensive care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for changes in heart rhythms, promptly reporting abnormalities to physicians.
* Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and post-operative conditions.
* Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with facility protocols.
* Conduct head-to-toe assessments and document patient status, vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition.
* Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
* Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
* Respond promptly to emergency situations using critical thinking and advanced clinical judgment.
* Ensure adherence to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

*Requirements:*

* *Medical and Telemetry, minimum 2 years’ experience*
* Epic experience
* Willingness to float between the two sister units
* *BLS*
* *ACLS*
* *NY RN License*

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,650.00 per week
