A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technicians in Louisville, KY.
This role is working with a major healthcare company and offers career growth potential. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week and follows a hybrid schedule with both remote and onsite work.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation
• Pay is $19/hr
• Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• 401(k) with company match available for full-time employees after 1 year of service
Pharmacy Technician Highlights
• This position is a contract role with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Hybrid: Work from home with 2–3 scheduled onsite days per week (rotational schedule)
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
• Maintain strong knowledge of pharmacy policies and government regulations to ensure accurate prescription entry
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Calculate patient doses based on prescriptions and clinical guidelines
• Enter prescription information and clarifications into the dispensing system for pharmacist review
• Assist patients and providers by answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately
• Support daily operations of data entry, order clarification, and communication with physician offices
• Work within program-specific guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy
Pharmacy Technician Requirements
• Active registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (must provide proof before hire)
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB required)
• Proven success in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret documents and carry out detailed instructions
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and multiple tasks
• High School Diploma or GED required
Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications
• Previous pharmacy data entry experience
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including basic algebra
• Client-facing or call center experience preferred
