Exciting Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellow in Genetic Epidemiology

We are on the lookout for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Genetic Epidemiology to join our dynamic Epidemiology and Biostatistics Services team. If you are passionate about quantitative epidemiology and radiogenomics research in breast cancer and glioma, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As a fellow, you will:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams led by Drs. Jonine Bernstein and Ronglai Shen.
• Engage in NCI-funded multi-center research studies focusing on the interplay between genetics and treatment in breast cancer and glioma.
• Explore opportunities to develop epidemiologic studies centered on imaging biomarkers, cancer treatment-related issues, and genetic predisposition to cancer.
• Take a leading role in research projects and present your findings at national scientific meetings.
• Enhance your grant writing skills and learn from a network of fellow postdoctoral researchers and mentors.

Key Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related quantitative discipline (e.g., population health, genetics, statistical genetics, environmental health).
• A strong grasp of quantitative methods, study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Experience with large genetic and population-based datasets, including SEER, and proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $55,439 - $100,940
