Airsys a growing manufacturing plant in Greer, SC is now hiring for a Quality Inspector

M-TH 7:00 AM to 5:30PM, 4 days a week!

Responsibilities:

1. Incoming Inspection (IQC):
2. Perform inspections on materials based on regulations and technical requirements.
3. Conduct sample identification and control non-conforming products.
4. Collect, record, and analyze quality data, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
5. Track and verify Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
6. Handle information on defective parts.
7. Process Inspection (PQC) and Outgoing Inspection (OQC):
8. Conduct inspections at different production stages, prevent defective products from progressing.
9. Ensure compliance with technical and process documents and promote self-checking.
10. Propose corrective and preventive measures, track their implementation.
11. Conduct sampling inspections, supervise equipment maintenance and calibration.
12. Control non-conforming products, notify relevant personnel, and ensure follow-up actions.
13. Collect, record, and analyze quality data, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
14. Quantitative Inspection:
15. Supervise operational management systems for measuring instruments.
16. Conduct calibration, verification, and maintenance of measuring instruments.
17. Manage the purchase, receiving inspection, and scrapping of instruments.
18. Coordinate with calibration organizations and budget measurement costs.
19. Perform audits related to metrology management.
20. Supervise operating procedures for measuring instruments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or above in technical secondary school or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of processing and inspection work.
• Knowledge and Skills:
• Familiarity with mechanical drawing, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, ISO 9001:2000 requirements, and metrology management.
• Understanding of refrigeration components, machining structure, and principles.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and relevant vocational qualifications.
• Diligent, responsible, with good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Office software and excellent oral and written expression skills.

• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.

• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 30 to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
