Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU at Canyon Vista Medical Center summary:

A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) provides immediate post-operative recovery care to perioperative patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. This role requires an active RN license, Associate's Degree in Nursing, and certifications in ACLS and PALS. Employed at a Joint Commission Accredited medical center offering a variety of specialty services in a community-focused healthcare environment.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing the immediate post-op recovery care of the Perioperative patient in the PACU through the use of the nursing process. The Nursing process is defined as the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating of nursing care pertinent to the individual patient.

***Per Diem Position***

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have an active AZ or Compact RN License.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Must have ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire.
