Your Role: Merchandise Handler
As a Merchandise Handler, you’ll play a crucial role in our operations. You’ll handle full cases of products (up to 50 lbs.) and ensure that our merchandise flows smoothly through our distribution center. This role requires a commitment to learning and a willingness to work at a steady, fast pace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow written and verbal directions in English.
- Utilize basic math skills to verify quantities and complete order paperwork accurately.
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) Scanners.
- Pay attention to detail and apply problem-solving skills.
- Identify products and match numbers accurately.
- Operate both motorized and non-motorized equipment to move merchandise.
- Inspect merchandise to ensure quality and brand specifications.
- Maintain documentation to facilitate merchandise flow.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience in a distribution center is a plus.
- Flexibility in job assignments across departments and locations.
- Ability to meet productivity standards after training.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
