Job Description As a Security Professional - Government Rounds in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving responsibilities are part of the role. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sat 08:00 PM - 05:00 AM Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the government location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
