General Summary:

The Senior Director, Enterprise Applications will lead a team responsible for architecture, design, development, support, maintenance, and future roadmap of strategic enterprise platforms and HR applications, including ServiceNow, Workday, Vertex University, and Readcube.

They will collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across various business areas to identify, prioritize, and deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Partner with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the enterprise applications technology portfolio and build the future roadmap.
  2. Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted partner and impact strategic business goals.
  3. Present ideas and plans to senior leaders and engage with them regularly.
  4. Lead a team of 7 Vertex members and support engineers, administrators, developers, and analysts.
  5. Oversee project portfolios, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  6. Propose innovative technologies and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  7. Improve internal processes related to demand, resource management, and system support.
  8. Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers.
  9. Support and maintain applications like ServiceNow and Workday, ensuring high performance and uptime.
  10. Collaborate with security and audit groups to ensure compliance with regulations.
  11. Participate in the G&A Technology Systems Leadership Team to shape overall strategy.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  1. Extensive experience with enterprise SaaS implementations, upgrades, and support.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proven people management and team-building abilities.
  4. Experience managing IT managed services or offshore teams.
  5. Program and project management expertise.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  1. B.S. degree and 10+ years relevant experience.
  2. Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  3. Background in SOX, GxP systems, and business processes.
  4. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Cornerstone, and Workday platforms.

Additional Information:

Pay Range: $220,000 - $330,000
