Sheet Metal Foreman

Jennings Mechanical is seeking an experienced  Sheet Metal Foreman  to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. This position offers the opportunity to lead crews on commercial HVAC and mechanical projects while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in every installation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead sheet metal crews on commercial projects.
• Coordinate daily tasks and ensure schedules are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, and installation of ductwork and related systems.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, company policies, and quality expectations.
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Track materials, tools, and project progress to maintain efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal installation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC sheet metal systems.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
