Snow Removal
We are seeking a dedicated Snow Removal to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring safe and accessible outdoor environments during winter months. If you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining safe premises, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, shovels, and salt spreaders to clear snow and ice from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas
- Monitor weather conditions to anticipate snow accumulation and plan timely removal efforts
- Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and ensure safety
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed
- Ensure all work areas are safe and compliant with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress and any safety concerns
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in snow removal or outdoor maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in cold weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor maintenance and equipment operation
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or during emergency snow events as needed
