\n \n\n \n· More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.
\n \n\n \n· AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL operates over 200 offices, providing compassionate, multidisciplinary care to more than one million patients a year.
\n \n\n \n· In existence since 1994, AdventHealth Medical Group Central FL has demonstrated consistent growth and stability in an ever-changing health care market.
\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute:
\n \n\n \nResponsible for using diagnostic medical equipment to diagnose various medical conditions. Sonography is the use of sound waves to generate an image for assessment and diagnosis. May specialize in obstetric/gynecologic, abdominal, vascular, neurosonography, echocardiography or other clinical specialty. Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical sonographic diagnoses. Has latitude for independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. Assists physicians as requested and selects practical application and technical factors.

\n \n\n \n· Follows through with patient care before the procedure as it relates to:
\n \n\n \no Assisting patients with exam preparations
\n \n\n \no Adequately explaining exam to patient
\n \n\n \no Obtaining pertinent history from patient prior to exam
\n \n\n \no Assisting patients during times of anxiety
\n \n\n \n· Performs procedure including positioning patient properly in order to visualize.
\n \n\n \n· Selects proper transducers for delineation of anatomy/pathology.
\n \n\n \n· Properly adjusts technical factors (gain scope power) to maximize image quality.
\n \n\n \n· Evaluates ultrasound for quality, completeness, proper adjustment of technical factors and proper delineation of anatomical and pathological detail.
\n \n\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \nMinimum qualifications :
\n \n\n \n· High School graduate or equivalent
\n \n\n \n· 1 or more years of experience and/or training.
\n \n\n \n· BCLS - Basic Life Support
\n \n\n \n· Certification/Registration through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
