Steel Fabricator
Location: La Vista, Nebraska
Pay Range: $22–$27/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM start | 8–10 hour shifts (avg. 10 hrs in summer)
Job Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabricator to join our growing team. You’ll work hands-on with structural steel, interpreting blueprints and operating fabrication tools to produce high-quality components for commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Measure, cut, bend, and assemble metal components using shears, saws, brakes, and welding equipment
Operate fabrication machinery including press brakes and punch presses
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as needed
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
Proficiency in blueprint reading and measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
Preferred Skills
Experience with structural steel and custom metalwork
Forklift experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
