JOB FUNCTION:

As a Supermarket Clerk, you will be crucial in creating an efficient and welcoming grocery department. Your skills in stocking, aiding customers, keeping the store tidy, and enhancing the shopping experience are key to helping us deliver exceptional customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver excellent customer service
• Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization
• Perform cashier duties, including operating a POS system
• Unload and stock products efficiently
• Maintain accurate pricing and attractive displays
• Sack groceries and assist customers with carry-out services
• Conduct accurate inventory counts and reporting
• Help customers with their shopping needs
• Potential to assist with E-Commerce duties, including order picking and delivery to customer vehicles
• Other tasks may be assigned as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 14 years old
• Availability to work Saturdays and some evenings
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills are necessary
• Previous experience in grocery or retail is a plus, but not mandatory

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand for up to 8+ hours each day
• Repetitive movements including lifting, reaching, bending, and twisting
• Regularly lift 0-20 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to various temperatures and possible inclement weather
