Job Duties - Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history analyses
- Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
- Work closely alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
- Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and facilitating the smooth exchange of surgical instruments during procedures
- Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative patient care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge arrangements, and patient education.
Qualifications - Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred
Certifications - Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
Essential Skills - Strong understanding of surgical principles and sterile technique practices
